Even though Elephant Auto Insurance’s headquarters in western Henrico Country, Va., has only been open since 2009, it is already experiencing growth.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, less than 50 people were employed by Elephant Auto Insurance last October. Now, 80 people work at the company’s Virginia headquarters.
Elephant Auto Insurance’s growth is in line with industry predictions from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). As the population continues to grow, the BLS notes the need for affordable car insurance will as well.
While Elephant Auto Insurance currently offers policies only in Virginia, plans are under way to go nationwide, reports the paper.
