New Ad Campaign Begins for Auto Insurance Co.

Automobile headlight switchNationwide Insurance is ramping up its marketing efforts this fall. The car insurance coverage provider has announced it will begin airing new ads featuring the character known as the World’s Greatest Spokesperson in the World.

The new series of advertisements will promote the Nationwide Family Plan, which will allow customers to “save up to 25 percent over competitors when adding new drivers” to such an auto insurance plan.

Nationwide senior vice president of marketing Jennifer Hanley says the World’s Greatest Spokesperson in the World’s character will change over time just as their customers do.

“The World’s Greatest Spokesperson in the World will continue to evolve as we learn what customers really like about the character and the messages he shares,” says Hanley. “Through careful measurement, this campaign is helping us understand what customers really want from their insurance company, and we are responding with new customer offerings that will be highlighted in the new ads.”
