“This is a great opportunity for Nationwide to connect with Steelers fans in an atmosphere of friendly camaraderie and sportsmanship,” says Nationwide’s strategic sponsorships associate vice president, John Aman. “This illustrates Nationwide’s commitment to supporting communities where we do business and to giving best of class service to all of our customers.”

Steelers fans can first experience the Nationwide water taxi in September when the Atlanta Falcons come to town. Rides will also be available when the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders visit Pittsburgh.

A typical water taxi ride to the game usually costs between $5 and $10.

Nationwide also sponsors several other programs. Recently, the car insurance company helped raise money for a children’s hospital with a golf tournament.
