GEICO Auto Insurance App Now Available for iPad

iPadTechnologically savvy auto insurance consumers now have another app available for downloading to their iPad or Android phone — the GEICO GlobeBox app.

Those who download the app for an Android will be able to pay their car insurance bills and record accident information with a tap of the screen.

Consumers who own an iPad can take advantage of other features, too. The revamped app allows users to take advantage of a split-screen display, access to social media, images to accompany the “how-to” section, and an accident helper to guide consumers through stressful accidents.

The car insurance company says that it has made the revamped version of the app for iPad and mobile digital devices with consumer ease in mind.

“Instead of simply shrinking our existing website, we reinvented the interaction with our latest applications,” said GEICO Internet business unit assistant Vice President Steve Smith.

As technology continues to evolve, marketers continue to devise new ways to best reach and help consumers on a regular basis. The car insurance industry is just one of many that are joining in on the alternative media landscape.

when and at what point the insurance company is working for THEMSELVES, they have the upper hand on you. I say this from experience of seeing and witnessing how and what they have done for years that I have been in the business.
