Tennis Sweepstakes Offered by Car Insurance Co.

tennis playersAs an official sponsor of the U.S. Open, car insurance provider Esurance wants to bring tennis fans a combination of relaxation in a luxury environment and personalized tennis instruction.

The grand-prize winner of the insurance company’s sweepstakes gets a pair of round trip tickets for a three-night stay at the Scottsdale, Ariz., Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. Additional prize perks include rackets, a portable ball machine and $1,000 cash. The real fun begins when the winners gets to improve their backhand with private instruction from the resort professionals.

“This sweepstakes is a great opportunity for us to illustrate our customer-centric approach to car insurance while connecting with tennis fans nationwide,” says Esurance vice president of marketing Darren Howard. “The prize package represents what Esurance does best, which is giving people what they want, when they want it. For tennis lovers, it is the best of both worlds.”

The U.S. Open will take place from Aug. 30 through Sept. 12 in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.

Esurance, which provides services enabling consumers to buy auto insurance online will also be sponsoring a promotion that will give U.S. Open attendees free Metro cards for use on the N.Y. subway.
